Following an extensive $215 million restoration, Brisbane City Hall will be reopening in April 2013.
EPICURE will be managing twelve functions rooms in this iconic venue, capable of hosting events for 20 - 1600 and offering guests, our unique blend of seasonal, contemporary food and exceptional service. In addition, we will be managing King George Square, which hosts a diverse range of community and corporate events all year round.
King George Square was designed as a space to reflect the historic values of the city, as well as a destination, transit hub, ceremonial and civic heart of the city.
EPICURE is looking to employ dedicated Casual Function Attendants, to assist with the setup, operations and breakdown of events, held all year round in Brisbane City Hall and King George Square, as of January 2013
To hit the ground running you will have:
· Impeccable presentation
· The ability to work well in a team
· Strong attention to detail
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Previous banquet and exhibition experience
· A understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures
· A current RSA and food handlers certificate
Candidates with experience within five star hotels and Special Events Environments are strongly encouraged to apply. To be considered you must have excellent availability and the flexibility to work weekends.
